Hylebos Wetlands Park

On July 7th, we met up with Evan's classmate Nathan and his mom and ventured out into the Hylebos Wetlands Park here in Federal Way. It's a fabulous park with a gorgeous mile-long walk through forest and wetlands. When you are under the canopy of trees, it's impossible to tell that you are still smack dab in the middle of suburbia! Talk about a getaway, right in the neighborhood! It's fabulous! The kids really enjoyed the walk and we got to see some new plants we'd never seen before. I had just picked up my brand new iPhone 3GS two days prior and was excited to take pictures with it.
